Swedish Organization for Global Health is a non-profit organization founded by students from Karolinska Institute. We partner with well-established grassroots NGOs in low-income countries with a proven track record of effective public health interventions. Together with our partners, we develop new public health projects and expand existing ones. Our partnership model, our focus on inexpensive health interventions, and our student volunteers in Sweden allow our projects to achieve a high impact with low costs.
Our vision is a world free of health inequities
Our mission is to improve the quality and accessibility of health care and health promotion in low-income countries through local and international partnerships.
Our values
- Health equity – Contributing to the fight against health inequities.
- Gender equality – Supporting women to overcome barriers to access to healthcare and their rights to reproductive health.
- Transparency and Accountability in relation to our partners and donors
