Decolonizing “Minds” Coordinator

Phuthumani Mlotshwa is a Masters student in Global Health at Karolinska Institutet. His background is in Biomedical Sciences, with 9 years of experience in a hospital setting and in a public health International NGO. His drive is to be part of the solution to health inequities in low- and middle-income countries. He aims to bring health information and healthcare services as close to socioeconomically vulnerable communities as is possible. He was drawn to the SOGH cause by the Mama & Family project in particular, as the project is empowering vulnerable women and children. Through interactions with volunteers and interns in the organization, he aims to amplify the impact and scope of the projects that the organization is running.
