You Go Girl!
This 11 October 2023, we celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child. And on this day, we would like to highlight that every girl has an equal right to participate in all enriching activities just as their counterparts do, and this includes sports. However, often times they cannot do so because of the gender stereotypes, sexism and harassment they face. In this blog, we elaborate on this critical issues and why these need to be addressed–so that all girls will eventually have equal access and capabilities to safely engage in sports activities, whenever and wherever they want to.
