Moa holds a degree in Development studies from Lund University. For her thesis, she conducted a field study in Indonesia, looking at health insurance usage within the informal sector. Upon graduating, she went on to intern at the Swedish embassy in Kampala, where she later served as a Political and Communications Officer. Her work included organising internal and external events as well as creating content for media channels. Further, she was the focal point for Ebola updates and took part in the appraisal for a large development project aiming to improve the health of refugees and host communities in Uganda’s refugee settlement. Moa’s interest lays mainly in improving preventive actions and access to good health care for all. As such, she joined SOGH to put her communication skills to use and help raise awareness of the organisation’s work as well as global health in general. Combining knowledge and creativity, Moa is devoted to her tasks and eager to learn from her experience with the organisation.
