We are looking for new team members based in Stockholm for the following roles (part-time on a voluntary basis):
– Events manager
– Program director for the Maama Project
– Communications manager
– Internships coordinator
– Fundraising manager
– Vice director (deadline 15 November)
You will work closely with other team members in Stockholm. All roles include a mix of distance work and team meetings held at Karolinska Institutet. The events manager will be in charge of organising events ranging from fundraisers to talks and seminars together with our partner organisations. Most of the events will take place at Karolinska Institutet. Previous experience working with events/students organisations is a plus.
Program director for the Maama Project
The program manager will be in charge of the monitoring and evaluation of our maternal and newborn health project in Uganda and work in close contact with our project partners. They will also take part in the preparation and preferably also the fieldwork related to our yearly evaluation conducted in Uganda in June-July 2017. Work/academic experince in maternal/newborn health and M&E is a plus. Specify whether you will be able to take part in our evaluation in Uganda in summer 2017.
The communications manager will be responsible for SOGH’s internal and external communication including social media, website, newsletter and communication with our team, members and advisory board. Experience with graphic design and WordPress is a plus.
Our internships coordinator will be in charge of recruitment and training of interns who will conduct an evaluation of our Maama Project in summer 2017. Specify your prevous experience working in low-income countries and with global health.
The manager will be responsible for our fundraising campaigns and for investigating financial and material sponsorship opportunities for our Maama Project and events in Sweden.
Our vice director will take an active part in decision-making at SOGH. Together with the director, they will oversee the activities of our different working groups. They will also plan and implement activities related to all our focus areas from global health education and fundraising in Sweden to global health projects abroad together with our working groups.
