Call for Applications – Communications Manager
We are currently looking for a new Communications Manager to complement our team!

What is required for all positions?
All positions are volunteer-based and require participating in board meetings twice a month. The amount of hours dedicated to the position varies depending on the position, specific tasks and/or period of the year. However, all managers are expected to take full responsibility for their role and complete their tasks. Nevertheless, flexibility is at the core of our team, so we always support each other when needed.

Who are we looking for?
A person who will join our current Communications Manager, Aya, sharing the work required for this position.
This person should be very creative, have very good public engagement and time management skills, and enjoy using social media with an ethical and critical eye. Previous experience in communications is a plus, but not a requirement, as well as knowledge in global health topics. Being based in Stockholm or close proximity (e.g. Uppsala) would be preferable but not necessary.
The position’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- managing SOGH social media accounts (e.i. making regular posts and updates, sharing pictures, etc.)
- responding to inquiries on social media/email
- making promotional/informative/educational posters
- making videos related to projects and events
- collaborating closely with external relations, website and fundraising managers and bloggers
